J. Carlyle Ackley, MBA, CPA

A graduate of Western Kentucky and Xavier University, Carlyle has over 35 years experience providing accounting, auditing and management advisory services to a wide range of business and governmental organizations. Prior to entering public practice, he spent five years with the United States General Accounting Office, where he was assigned to various Congressional committees and sub-committees, as well as auditing some of America's largest companies. Carlyle is one of the founding members of Bramel & Ackley, PSC and has been a partner / owner since 1970. His expertise is in the areas of governmental auditing, consulting and tax planning (especially estate matters). He is also a member of the Kentucky and Ohio Societies of CPA's. Carlyle's outside interests include managing a tenth generation family farm and being a financial advisor to several community organizations and families.

Stephanie Huhn, CPA

A graduate of Thomas More College, Stephanie has been with Bramel & Ackley, PSC since 1999. Stephanie’s experience includes accounting and auditing of area businesses, non-profits, homeowners associations and governmental organizations. Stephanie’s tax experience includes compliance, research and planning for Individuals, Corporations, Partnerships and Trusts. Stephanie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Kentucky and Ohio Societies of CPA’s. Stephanie is a member of the Cincinnati Women’s Society of CPA’s serving as the scholarship chairperson for several years and the organization’s President for the 2010-2011 year. She is serving as a member of the Thomas More College Accounting Alumni Advisory Board. Stephanie is a member of Legacy and BNI. Stephanie serves the community through her membership with the Boone County Jaycees and Taylor Mill Lions Club.
